Our flat fee structure reflects our Intended-Parent-first philosophy and is built to support clarity, predictability, and confidence as you move forward. Every service included in your journey is clearly outlined so you understand what is included before you commit.
Ethical Egg Donation and Surrogacy
J. Baby outsources all financial management of your IVF funds to SeedTrust, the industry’s leading third-party financial escrow account manager. At no time, will J. Baby ever co-mingle or put at risk the money you have set aside to pay for your IVF journey.
J. Baby follows the ethical guidelines established by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). These widely recognized standards help ensure that both your egg donor and surrogate are carefully screened and fully qualified, giving Intended Parents greater confidence throughout the process.
We also believe that these ethical standards should extend to everyone involved. We treat the egg donors and surrogates who make your journey possible with the same respect, care, and support that we provide to you. High ethical standards, transparent practices, and compassionate treatment are foundational to how we operate every day.

J. Baby is a small, family-run agency built around personal relationships, not volume. You will not be passed between departments or rotating coordinators. Instead, you work with a dedicated team that remains personally involved from your first conversation through delivery.
Expedited Matching and Medical Clearance
J. Baby does not limit you to a fixed internal pool. When needed, we actively recruit and identify surrogates or donors based on the qualities that are important to your family, including location and personal considerations.
Most Intended Parents are matched within three to six months, sometimes sooner. If we are unable to match you with a surrogate you approve within that timeframe, your deposit is fully refundable.
Because our team is intentionally small and highly involved, we are also able to move medical reviews and clinic onboarding forward with greater efficiency.

From Our Family to Yours
Founded in 2012 by partners in life and business, Kenji Saito and Michael Lacoe created J. Baby to provide a more personal and ethical path for families navigating fertility care.
What began as a way to help Intended Parents find hard-to-match Japanese egg donors has grown into a full-service boutique agency supporting families through both surrogacy and egg donation.
Our sons, Elijah and Luca, were born with the help of an egg donor and a surrogate. That experience continues to guide how we support every family who trusts us with their journey.
